Just to clarify:
Residents can utilize their Gill Hauling garbage/recycling carts until they get picked up permanently on December 30th (please leave carts out until Gill Hauling picks them up as they may not finish picking up on the 30th ad 31st). This will allow residents to use G & K Disposal’s carts PLUS Gill Hauling’s carts for the holiday. G&K will be delivering carts to more residents on December 27th. Please call City Hall if you have not received your carts on Monday, December 30th. (Garbage carts are dark gray and recycle carts are dark gray with a yellow lid)
G&K Disposal: New Garbage Pick Up Days
G & K Disposal does understand it’s a holiday and there may be extra garbage/recycling for the first pick-ups on January 7th and 8th. If you have excess garbage/recycling at this point, please bag and set next to your carts.
If you live on the East side of I-29, your Garbage and Recycle pick up day will be on Tuesdays with the first day of pickup being on Tuesday, January 7th.
If you live on the West side of I-29, your Garbage and Recycle pick up day will be on Wednesdays with the first day of pickup being on Wednesday, January 8th.
To ensure pickup, please place your carts out the day prior to your pickup day.
