UPDATE:
North Sioux City’s new garbage service provider, G & K Disposal, will be delivering carts beginning on December 21. Residents will be receiving the same number of carts they have with our current provider. If changes need to be made or there are any questions, please contact the City Hall at 605-232-4276.
Key Points to Know:
- Pick up days will change. The East side of I-29 will be picked up on Tuesdays. The West side of I-29 will be picked up on Wednesdays. Please put your carts out the night before. Pick up starts at 4 AM. The first days of service will be January 7th & 8th.
- Residents are allowed up to 2 garbage carts and 2 recycling carts. If a third garbage cart is wanted, there will be an extra billable charge for the 3rd. A maximum of 2 carts are allowed for recycling. A 3rd recycle cart is not an option.
- All garbage & recycling carts are the large 96-gallon carts. The recycle carts will have yellow lids. There will not be small carts going forward.
- Monthly billing amount for garbage service will remain unchanged for 2025.
