A draft of the City’s Comprehensive Plan is now available for public review. This plan helps guide long-term decisions around things like transportation, future land use, and how our community grows in the years ahead.

What is the Comprehensive Plan?
The Comprehensive Plan is a roadmap for the future of North Sioux City. It looks at where we are today and outlines a vision for where we’re headed, covering topics like:
- Transportation and infrastructure
- Population trends and projections
- Future land use and development
The draft plan was developed by the North Sioux City Planning Commission in partnership with the South Eastern Council of Governments.
Upcoming Public Hearings
Community input is an important part of this process. Residents are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming public hearings to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback.
